About Us

Craig is originally from Hiawassee, GA while Joanna was raised in Monterrey, Mexico. After spending much of her life in Mexico Joanna’s family moved to Hiawassee. Craig and Joanna started dating shortly after when they were 16. After high school they both sensed God’s call to international missions.

God’s calling on their life led Craig to earn a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Piedmont College and a master’s degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Joanna earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing becoming an RN in preparation for her ministry on the field.

Joanna’s primary ministry responsibility is running a medical clinic she started in their home village of San Jose. Craig is SCORE International’s strategy coordinator in the Dominican Republic. He is also an adjunct professor at the Seminario Teológico Bautista Dominicano an affiliate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and serves as a minor league baseball chaplain through the ministry of Baseball Chapel.

They have traveled to Mexico, Lebanon, Haiti, Honduras, Brazil, Columbia, Costa Rica and Peru and have been living in the Dominican Republic for almost a decade. They continue to travel regularly throughout Latin America teaching and training. The vision of the ministry is to glorify Christ Jesus through Kingdom expansion, accomplished through equipping others to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching their own people and multiplying biblical churches among them. The prayer is multiplication of healthy churches by equipping every disciple to be a disciple maker for their joy and Christ’s glory.

Craig and Joanna have three children all born in the Dominican Republic: Joseph Marshall, Liliana Elizabeth and Lucas Judson. Their sending church is First Baptist Church Woodstock, GA.
